AgRecruit sent Managing Director, Sam, and Principal Consultant, David, to the World AgriTech Summit in London last week, with a key topic of conversation preditably being investment – more specifically, how difficult this is to come by at the moment. Market conditions seem to be seeing investors tighten the purse strings and become more risk-averse.
Nonetheless the event was a succesful one for us; not the cheapest event in the calendar but one that comes with a highly relevant and targeted audience and an abundance of organisations sending key decision makers. Encouraging signs for us were various conversations with businesses HQ’d in different parts of the world with international expansion plans, and being approached by businesses looking to burrow further into AgriTech having previously made their mark in other sectors – always great to see businesses and individuals being drawn to the world of agtech!
