AgRecruit SELECT can help you perform a comprehensive ‘market mapping’ process for key appointments… but what do we mean by this?

1. Using a combination of our market expertise and consultation with the hiring company – along with varying search practices – we suss out where pools of relevant individuals are likely residing. Businesses doing a similar thing to you, competitors, communities of talent… wherever we need to look.

2. Based on your parameters, we embark on amassing a pool of ALL possible individuals who could be relevant. Key to this is that, at this stage, we are not concerned with whether or not people appear to be looking or want to be found… we want to identify the ENTIRE market, eventually listing up to 100-200 names.

3. We embark upon systematically and discretely attempting to approach all of these individuals to gauge interest in a possible discussion. Our comprehensive vetting process then kicks in – most candidates are ruled out along the way (or are not interested), some we are unable to get hold of. Intel is collected along the way – salary rates, perception of your brand in the marketplace and more. What we are left with is a longlist of candidates who are briefed, vetted, interested and have passed competency assessment checks.

4. COLLABORATIVELY with the client this longlist is reduced to a short list of candidates for interview.

Why do we do this? In order to ensure you are presented with the opportunity, with accompanying market intel, to make the best possible hire that is currently available in the market.

Where is it required? This approach may be overkill for many of your vacancies.
