KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Background in Plant & Seeds Science, with demonstrable expertise in Pathology.
• Ability to take on a 'Lead' position (either with lead experience, or ready for this step up), entailing laboratory management, spearheading a small theam and co-ordinating R&D efforts.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

This AgriTech start-up, born out of 10-15 years' worth of research in the Seeds Pathology space, is making waves in the Seeds sector having developed treatment solutions that are chemical-free, clean, energy efficient and cheap to deploy.

The global Agriculture sector is currently striving to develop chemical-free and environmentally friendly plant treatment solutions, making this a multi-billion (if not, multi-trillion) dollar space. Having raised funding in the millions, this company looks set to grow significantly in the next 1-2 years & beyond.

To join a small team, a specialist in Plant Pathology is required to undertake a lead role, essentially managing and co-ordinating Laboratory and R&D activities. This could be a good fit for somebody who is already experienced in taking on senior / lead level responsibilities, or a Scientist with a good level of experience for whom this would be the next logical career step up.

You will also need to a presentable and communicative individual - able to discuss and present ideas and scientific concepts to clients and potential investors.
