Project Manager - Horticultural Technology

• Opportunity to play a key role in a technology business dedicated to greater food sustainability and productivity.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Proven Project Management track record, with the ability to hit the ground running in a role of this nature.
• Experience in a related sector; this could include AgriTech, Horticulture, Produce, Vertical Farming, etc...
• Prior delivery of projects of a technological and/or engineering nature (this doesn't have to be too specific, and could range from electrical installations, growing environment fit-outs, implementation of hardware such as sensors, growing technologies or similar)
• Able to take on frequent travel - UK focused with overnight stays rare - and combine this with a hybrid manner of working incorporating home-working.

Providing cutting edge technology and engineering solutions geared towards the Indoor Farming and Controlled Environment Agriculture domains, this company are are the forefront of the AgriTech revolution. Their mission is to harness the power of technology to contribute to greater food sustainability and productivity levels.

The nature of their products and services means that at any one time they could be engaged on multiple multi million £ projects for a variety of clients, including commercial growing businesses; therefore an experienced Project Manager is required to lead and oversee delivery of such projects.

With a varied suite of solutions, this could range from full turnkey engineering / technology implementations, to delivery of more niche technologies relating to sensors, sophisticated lighting set-ups, and more.

A high level of expertise in one particular technology or area of engineering is NOT a requirement, so long as you have a general track record of delivering technology and engineering related projects.

Additionally, the successful candidate will likely have some knowledge of this, or a similar, sector. This could come from prior experience working in Controlled Environment Agriculture & Vertical Farming specifically, or other areas of Horticulture and AgriTech.
