New role created with one of the top AgriTech companies to watch in the UK!
Play a part in tackling real issues across the agricultural and environmental sectors.
KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
ROLE & COMPANY OVERVIEW:
One of the UK's leading lights in the AgriTech sector, set up to tackle and eradicate the use of environmentally harmful chemicals in arable farming and weed control, is growing rapidly off the back of multi-million pound funding. The challenge of developing alternatives to chemical usage in agriculture has developed into a multi-billion dollar industry - and this company is at the forefront of this, with their own patented and chemical-free weed treatment solutions.
With a number of engineering hurdles being presented, such as how to incorporate new innovations into existing farming infrastructures and machinery offerings, an experienced Project Manager is now required to play a key role in transforming engineering prototype solutions into commercially viable product offerings.
You will need to have a background in the Agriculture sector, and therefore an understanding of the agri-machinery landscape and needs / challenges of farmers. In addition to this, a strong level of Project Management experience fused with engineering expertise is required - with mechanical or mechatronic engineering being the desired disciplines.
This a key role requiring a significant level of Project Management experience in an Engineering environment, and the ability to lead small multi-disciplinary teams of engineers. If you can ally this with not only agricultural sector knowledge, but also a genuine passion for the future of the sector and environment, then we'd be keen to speak with you!
