DevOps / Software Engineer - Azure (*Fully Remote - UK*)

KEY EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Demonstrable experience in Software Engineering & DevOps (this role would likely suit somebody who considers themselves to be at a mid or senior level).
• Expertise in Azure best practice
• Exposure to one or more of Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes or Docker.
• Whilst this role has a DevOps leaning, working in a small and versatile Software team you will need to be flexible and not afraid to get stuck into other Software Engineering related tasks as and when required!
• Experience in a 'big data' environment, or at least experience working on data centric solutions and platforms.

Working within a team of Software Engineers, your remit will be to become the DevOps and Azure expert in the team. Therefore, you could be a 'mid level' DevOps or Software Engineer looking to take this step up, or a more experienced engineer who can already take up a 'senior' level role.

In a small and flexible team, it's imperative that all Software Engineers are versatile and happy to 'muck in' on various tasks as and when they arise. Therefore, whilst having a DevOps and Azure specialism, you must also not be afraid to get stuck in to other Software Engineering related duties such as more general programming tasks. You must also be happy working in a data-centric environment - with any 'big data' experience highly advantageous, or at least prior examples of having contributed to the development of data intensive solutions and platforms.
