ROLE & COMPANY OVERVIEW:

The use of environmentally harmful chemicals in the Agriculture and Crops sector is being increasingly clamped down upon - whilst this is positive news for the health of our planet, it leaves a massive hole in the food system when it comes to our ability to produce crops efficiently and at the required scale.

This company, growing rapidly with significant funding behind them, are on a mission to tackle this problem through the discovery and development of new, sustainable and environmentally friendly plant and crop treatment solutions.

A number of discovery platforms have been developed to serve this purpose, therefore a Computational Chemist is required to play a key role in delivering a computation chemistry platform which is key to what this company does.

Demonstrable Computational Chemistry experience will be required, ideally gained from industry experience and in particular exposure to sectors such as AgroChemicals, Pharmaceutical or BioTech - however, these are all desirables rather than essentials, and anybody with relevant Computational Chemistry experience gained from alternative sectors, or academia / research, is also encouraged to get in touch.

If you're somebody who wants to utilise your skills in a role that will see you make a positive impact on our planet and food system, apply now to learn more!
